Thank you very much for the PR. I removed some duplicates in the ref but also in the UUID. I’m wondering if it’s coming from the API of malpedia or somewhere else . @danielplohmann might know the answer.

Yes, that looks like a file generated by our API.
Thanks very much for highlighting the issue with duplicate UUIDs, that's a consequence of renaming families internally and resulting leftover database artifacts. We'll fix that on our side to simplify future updates.
