Notes on Works encoding

Independent entries are to be created for:

• the single Passiones within the Gadla Samāʿǝtāt

• the single Miracles of Mary

• biblical books like the minor prophets, which seem not to occur outside the Dodekapropheton collection

• the Mazmura Dāwit and the Canticles of the Prophets

• single hymns in collections of Dǝggʷā, Wāzemā and Mawāśǝʾǝt hymns (LIT3178Deggwa, LIT2504wazema, and LIT1990Mawase to be used for the collections, respectively).

Sections of the following works should be textparts and not receive independent IDs:

• Wəddāse Māryām, Wəddāse ʾAmlāk, ʾArgānona Māryām should not receive ids for days of the week

Excerpts from works which have a stable structure and transmission remain textparts:

• Single homilies of LIT3989Aragawi ʾAragāwi manfasāwi

For the Gospels:

• LIT1560Gospel for the four Gospels
