New LOC records in Tanasee1, no. 4 (not discussed yet) #98
Conversation
I found place names in Tanasee1 on folia 22ra, 85ra and 184ra. Contrary to the previously pulled branches, these have not been discussed in a pull request, yet. I opened a discussion in an issue on LOC7400Waramit and LOC6977Wagalesa in #2439. I think, I found enough evidence to be certain on the orthography and the location of these two places. For LOC7399Dazma, I did not find a modern place, but a hint in an article by Bosc-Tiessé, who also read this word as Dazmā and said, that it is an unidentified place (bm:2008BoscTiesseIles, p. 78). I wish to mention this reference, but I do not know, how to encode it in a note or in a relation. Since Bosc-Tiessé does not mention the manuscript Tanasee1 explicitly, I would rather not add the ID of the manuscript as a tag to the zotero lemma. However, I find the reading of Dazmā is doubtful, because the character for ደ may also be read as ይ. It looks like a hybrid form to me with features of ደ and ይ. I opted to encode the variant reading as n2. Do you think, this is appropriate? I wish to create also wikidata for LOC7400Waramit and LOC6977Wagalesa, but wikidata does not give me a new requested password. I will do as soon as possible.

Thanks for your comments! I mentioned Bosc-Tiessé in a bibl note inside the existing note.
I updated LOC7399Dazma according to Eugenias requests. I also deleted t: and xmlns:t="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0" in two records.
I discovered, that LOC6979Waramit already exists for ወራሚት. I think, I should keep this one and update it. LOC7400Waramit can be deleted or discarded. |

Yes, how can I discard LOC7400Waramit? We don't need this new ID any more.

You will have to delete it in a separate PR after this one is merged

Sorry for a late intrusion into the discussion, I would nearly certainly read this word as ይዝማ; even in view of the absence of another ይ፣ yet multiple examples of ደ, written differently. ይዝማ exists also today as locality, you can find it in the internet, cp. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dibo

Yes, very convincing - even though it is more than 100km away from Kəbrān!
If all quests are solved, can this branch be merged? |
I updated Dazmā to Yəzəmā
I changed ə for ǝ and added ፡ according to Eugenias request.
please delete LOC7400Waramit in a new PR |
I have created a new branch "Delete LOC7400Waramit". How can I perform the deletion? |
yes, sure, PR |
Yes, the question was, how will I precisely execute the deletion. I opened the branch in Github and deleted the record in the BetMas folder. I will push the pull request, now. |

I wish to provide also wikidata for LOC7400Waramit and LOC6977Wagalesa, but wikidata does not give me a new requested password. I will create and provide an Wikidata ID as soon as possible.
