interesting, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue.
This could be your monitor, one of the 10 css snippets, could be Minimal Theme playing a trick on you, or could be any of the other plugins, or something else.

As requested in the issue template. Please verify the issue persists in an empty vault with only Excalidraw installed, otherwise everything default. If the issue persists, please check this with another monitor, ideally on another PC. If the issue persists, please report back and I'll take a more detailed look.

Let me start by saying that I use Obsidian on a desktop computer with a Samsung monitor.
I did some testing.

  • I created an empty vault with only Excalidraw installed, and the issue persists.

  • Then I tried to install Obsidian on my laptop ASUS, and here the issue does not occur.

  • Finally, I tried to use the online version of Excalidraw (excalidraw.com) on my desktop computer, and here the issue does not occur.

It's strange because if the problem was my monitor then I think the issue should also occur in the online version of Excalidraw, while here everything works fine.

You can try to update your Obsidian installer version on your desktop. 1.6.7 is not old, but not the latest. Newer installers bring newer version of Electron browser.

Thanks Zsolt for your help. I just tried to update my Obsidian installer version (from 1.6.7 to 1.7.7), but the issue persists.

super interesting. I use Obsidian Excalidraw on many devices. I've never seen this.
You can try experimenting with different resolution settings on your desktop to see if that has any bearing on the issue.
You could also try updating your display driver.

I am very curious to understand what's going on... and of course it can still turn out to be a plugin issue, but unless I am able to reproduce it, there is zero chance of finding a fix.

The recommended resolution for my monitor is 1920 x 1080. However, I also tried changing the resolution but this does not appear to have any bearing on the issue.
The display driver is updated to its latest version.
Sorry
