I am trying to install zsh-completions on debian stable 12.5

Describe the solution you'd like

be able to add a repo and install/maintain the debian way. an OBS repo for debian stable 12, which has been released 1 year ago, would do the job.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I tried installing the debian 11 version and it fails due to invalid signatures
