Are you intending to open this against 1.28 version? This one isn't supported anymore. I believe that any relevant configuration is now in the zowe.yaml and documented in latest 2.x or 3.x versions.

I was working on Zowe v20 .. I've now installed the latest V3. I'll check if this is still valid onV3, and update it accordingly Colin

You may have gotten unintentionally to the V1 documentation as that's the one against which the issue is open.

If the problem is in V2 documentation, it's probably in V3 as well.

I was looking into the current version of this file - https://docs.zowe.org/stable/user-guide/api-mediation/discovery-service-configuration/ and I see the explanation of where does it fits.

The same with the V2 version - https://docs.zowe.org/v2.18.x/user-guide/api-mediation/discovery-service-configuration/

As such I am closing the issue, but if you feel that the two articles above doesn't do a good job, please feel free to reopen. I am fine with improving them.
