hi there,
so without buildkit it goes but it says deprecated and buildkit should be used in the future, but with buildkit i get above error.

any idea how to debug this?

@1seck could you please run mup docker status? I'm wondering if an old version of docker is installed on the servers. You can update with mup docker update.

I ran "apt upgrade" on my Ubuntu server, and now mup deploys fail with this exact same error message:

Hi there
Can't quite remember how I solved the issue but what node version are you running?
Should be 14.x so if you are on nvm respectively
nvm use v14.x.x
Some LTS version etc.

Ah, since u updated with apt probably u have an Ubuntu version of node (which is not recommended but anyway) maybe try downgrading node.
I guess that was the problem but not sure here.

Oh, I just thought I'd share what caused the error to appear in my case. I got it solved immediately just by installing docker-buildx.

Sure! 24.0.7. Used to be 20.10.21 before I upgraded Docker.
