data quality is not good if the worm goes to the edge of the plate anyways
adjacent issue of detecting the edge of the plate via image processing
detecting the edge of the plate may be useful for scanning the plate see plate scan for worm #48

idea:

detect edge of plate via pre-captured images
detect edge via large region detection in the sides of the image in real time

capture image statistics when a worm is in the image
capture image statistics when the edge of the plate is in the image
use these statistics to "recognize" when the plate is in the image vs when the worm is in the image

d2fong removed this from the behaviour 1.0 milestone
