How to find relevant KConfig options for a specific API?

I want to use the Settings API. There is some documentation for this API (https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/doxygen/html/group__settings.html#gaf81fad8575840f73a739d16d79613f8e) and I found somewhere else, that I probably want to set the CONFIG_SETTINGS_NVS to y. By guessing, I found, that I have to set CONFIG_SETTINGS to y to build and link the library itself.

How can I find all the relevant configuration options for this API? Or in general, if I want to use a certain API, how can I find alle the relevant configuration options?

Ok, I think I found the answer. One have to locate the API in the Zephyr source tree and then look for a nearby Kconfig file.
