Zephyr Sensor power down issue

Hi,
I am beginner in zephyr, I am trying to configure some sensors(I2C based) in my device(nRF52840 board). By using sample code, I am getting sensors value successfully. I am using this APIs: device_get_binding(...), sensor_sample_fetch(...) and sensor_channel_get(...) to read sensors value.
My device is battery based, I want to put my device into power down mode after reading sensors data, but there is no APIs exposed for doing this task.
I am using LPS22HB sample code.
