4.50.2.37-beta.7

Notable changes in this release:

Couldn't find any enum member that matches the string ...
)
Full changelog here.
4.50.0.35-beta.5
This is just a first release for the Omega update. Due to changes in the structure of the saves, it's not perfect but I want to give you something you can already work with. Consequently, there are some downsides (see below) that I'll try to solve in the future, but until further notice it will be like this.
IMPORTANT:
- Unlike previous versions, this one drops support for older saves and will only work with those from the Omega update and up.
- Expedition saves will only work if you started it from an existing save and even then, it is only possible to edit the primary save data.
- If you try to load an incompatible save, it will crash!
Less important notes:
- Saves will still be displayed as Echoes
- The collections feature is not working at the moment
Notable changes in this release:
- Updated to the new save file format
- Updated mapping and database to game version 4.50
- Added new freighter, multitool, and ship types
Full changelog here.
4.40.0.34-beta.4
Updated for Echoes 4.4 and the previously mentioned update of libNOM.io that finally resolves a lot of reported issues!
IMPORTANT: You may need to download this manually again as the updater was broken in previous versions.
Notable changes in this release:
- Updated mapping and database
- Add all new milestones since Waypoint 4.0
- Lots of bug fixes for reading/writing/transferring save data and some other issues
Full changelog here.
4.30.0.33-beta.3
Finally updated for 4.3 and everything else since 4.0. Nothing much more for now but the next one is already in the works with focus on reading/writing/transferring save data and should fix a bunch of those bugs.
You might also want to take a look at the new Wiki here on GitHub! It's not finished yet but should already give you a good overview and help.
Notable changes in this release:
- Updated mapping and database to game version 4.34
Full changelog here.
4.00.0.32-beta.2
Mostly fixes bugs reported for beta.1 and updates for 4.07 including an updated database and the Holiday 2022 Expeditions. This only fixes bugs unrelated to libNOM.io as I'm in the middle of a refactoring for that.
Notable changes in this release:
- Expedition tab now functional again
- Fixed that changing a few fields had no effect
Full changelog here.
4.00.0.31-beta.1
With this release I have turned everything upside-down, and you'll find improvements, fixes, and even some new features in every corner. Have a look at the following list for an overview of the most important parts or the full changelog at the end.
But to get this ready for the Switch/4.0 release I had to speed it up and postpone some stuff to a later release. Stay tuned for the remaining stuff and new exiting things as well!
IMPORTANT: From this release on NomNom uses the new .NET 6! To continue using it, you need to install its Desktop Runtime.
For my fellow developers I outsourced some parts into separate class libraries that can be found here: libNOM.collect, libNOM.io, and libNOM.map
Notable changes in this release:
- Multi-language support
- MBINCompiler mapping.json including automatic (and manual) updates
- Automatic detection of platforms in the default locations and now also additional custom locations
- Built-in backup recovery
- Tree view for the JSON editor including a search
- Images!
- Collection management (Outfits, Starships, etc.), pre-filled with starters, pre-order, expedition, and Twitch rewards
- Fully compatible with goatfungus and NMS Companion and the Creative & Sharing Hub on Discord
- Mod support! Customize the look and feel/behavior according to the mods you use. See here for more information
- Squadrons added
- Use the Customizer by Mjstral directly within NomNom
- And much more!
