Mute button focuses tab

When you click on the little loudspeaker on a tab to mute it, the tab comes into focus.

This is different from the behaviour without tabutils and not helpful, since I often mute a tab, because I do not want to pay attention to it at the moment.

Are there good chances that a fix for "Mute/Un-mute button changes the focused tab" issue will fix also the "Play/Pause button changes the focused tab" issue (if https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/play-pause/ is installed) ?
