This is about the breakout board rather than the iCESugar-Pro itself. For my project, I used straight-through header pins rather than the 90 degree PMOD connectors so that I can mount the board onto a protoboard along with other components, then wire wrap the pins together.
However, the pins do not all align. The PMODs (for example P2, P6 and P1) on one half of the board will align with the standard hole spacing. But the PMODs on the other side of the board are about 1/2 spacing too far (or too close). So the unit doesn't sit flush onto the protoboard. I have to use extender header pins that are slightly bent inward to accommodate the breakout board.
This isn't so much of an issue seeking resolution, but rather for awareness. Maybe I just got a bad board.
Altogether, the iCESugar-pro and the breakout are an excellent development platform.
