Add "sanity checks" before enqueuing

Mostly thinking of mutual exclusion (so you don't have the same motor set to scan against itself), could also include limits testing

Some of this could possibly be done via UI preventing you from trying in the first place, but can also be frustrating to not be able to select what you want until you deselect it in what you want to swap with...
