Modeling associated custom attributes

Hey folks!

I'm trying to figure out how to implement dynamic columns in a Flop table and could use a hand.

My data model is the following:

schema "subscribers" do
  has_many :attributes
  ...
end


schema "attributes" do
  belongs_to :definition
  belongs_to :subscriber
  field :value, :string
end

schema "definitions" do
  has_many :attributes
  field :type, :string
  field :key, :string
end

The definitions get rendered as columns, and I'd like to be able to sort and filter on the attribute values.
