SolaX Power Modbus Freezes On Adding Inverter

When I try to add my Sofar inverter in SolaX Power Modbus, it hangs and if I open up a new window and no inverter is detected and it is stuck on initialising. On the other end my inverter shows RS485 on screen and the Link light on my waveshare is blue. Any ideas what might be going on?

Upon downgrading to (2024.05.2) it no longer hangs although it doesn't seem to be recognising the inverter (Sofar HYD 3000-ES) it creates a new device with the specified IP and it creates 1 entity, 'Sofar Serial Number' which reads Unknown. Here is the logs.

Which inverter type are you using when configuring the plugin? I am not 100% sure, but I think 'sofar' supports the HYD x KTL series. Have you tested sofar_old?

Can you post the serial number of your inverter?

How are you trying to connect to you Sofar Inverter? With a Waveshare? If so have you tried swapping A and B wire over?

And maybe one more question: Have you terminated the RS485 on the inverter side properly?

Yep all wired up correctly. RS485 shows on the screen of the inverter amd when the wires are swapped no connection is shown. TCP connection is established is Vircom. When I add the inverter and select Sofar_old. It shows 1 entity, (serial number) and it shows "unknown".

Note that the RS485 sign also shows up on my HYD 10 KTL even, when not properly terminated. As I don't know HYD 3000-ES, I can't tell for sure whether this one requires a termination using a 120 Ohm resistor on the inverter side as well.
