Another alpha build for MC 1.9!
Built on Java 8, Baubles 1.2.0.0, Forge 1841

Changes:

  • Update lang files
  • Some better textures (wiiv)
  • Fix server crash
  • Fix pane models
  • Fix walls appearing in vanilla creative tab
  • Fix burst coloring discrepancies between 1.7 (wiresegal)
  • Kekimurus now eats the new slice of cake added in 1.8+
  • API cleanup (Incremented version)
  • Fix contributor renders
  • Fix multiblock renders being ugly af (alpha not working) (thanks Paleocrafter)
  • Mana guns now allow the offhand item to be used when recoiling, so you can dual wield them pretty effectively!
  • All interact events are back
  • Fix spreader item model
  • Fix munchdew not working
  • Fix mana tablet on player render
  • Fix Terra rod not working
  • API: Allow any catalyst for infusion recipes
  • Added vanilla flowers + mortar and pestle -> floral powder recipes
  • Fix top half of double mystical flowers not emitting the right colored particle
  • Fix shifting in bauble box gui
  • Fix mana pool's north wall being too tall
  • Fix pump model (mostly)
  • Horses now drop everything in inventory except their saddle when being virused
  • Fix red string interceptor not working at all
  • JEI/Lexicon now render pool as full, like in 1.7
  • Some brews now compute their color by averaging all the potion colors
  • Experimental conversion of mana network to use a set instead of list (avoids linear time lookups)
  • Tweak heisei dream internals

This is an alpha build for MC 1.9
Built on Forge 1811, Baubles 1.2.0.0

Changes since build 299:

  • Fix red string comparator not binding
  • Minor memory optimization
  • Fixed JEI integration for magic flowers
  • Fix pump trying to animate serverside
  • Make water bowl look fancier
  • Fix drinking a brew with Sponge installed spamming tons of vials/flasks
  • Minor cleanups

Known issues:

  • Axes don't work properly
  • Gaia guardian is probably extremely broken
  • Several interact events are out waiting on one of my forge PR's
  • Auxiliary renders are wrong again
  • Lexicon 3D model out again
  • Some things look weird in inventory (TESRs and floating flowers)
  • Cannot open the lexicon right now because I'm a dumbass

Welcome to Botania unofficial 1.8! This is my unofficial port and continuation of Vazkii's wonderful mod Botania.
This will serve as our "release candidate" for the real 1.8 release. I've incremented the build number by 50. This is if there are any more patches to 1.7.10, they won't run into our numbers.

Built on Java 8, MinecraftForge 1763, Baubles 1.1.3.0

Changes since last build:

  • Fix corporea funnel auto output
  • Fix corporea index stars being too bright
  • Rabbits can now spawn from cocoon of caprice
  • Storage drawers now work with corporea again
  • Fix mana prism redstone control being inverted
  • Fix spreaders not animating smoothly on turntable
  • Fix mana prism not syncing when its inventory changes
  • Possible fixes for crashes when entering chunks with botania blocks in them
  • Workaround JEI integration where things showed up in the wrong category
  • Fix corporea sparks crashing when attempting to be placed on invalid blocks

Hotfix on the hotfix

Changes:

  • Retrofit corporea to work with forge capabilities
  • Corporea will query for "TOP" side capability first and fall back on null side.
  • Fix spark icon not being colored based on which network it's on
  • Added a reference to our favourite magician

Note: Some semi-major code shuffling is going on internally, especially pertaining to interaction with inventories. Please report any bugs you find, and thanks for helping out!

Your next weekly build

Changes:

  • Fix pools and other te's suddenly getting wiped clientside when lots of blocks change (e.g. when a tree grows)
  • This should mean that that entire "receiveMana" crash should no longer happen (\o/)
    • The hacky guard against that fix has been removed, if the crash doesn't happen this release then that means it's been fixed
  • Fel pumpkins can now be placed from dispensers to form blazes, like vanilla 1.8 allows for pumpkins and golems
  • Mobs can no longer ride the mana pool cart :P
  • Work around a massive memory consumption issue in vanilla (8 million objects created every few seconds per player). Servers should run more smoothly now
  • Update lang file (translators please see issue #159
  • [API] Misc cleanups, bump version
  • Spreaders have their item models back
  • Fix pools looking weird when held in third person
  • Revert first person lexicon model to the normal one for now until I figure the fancy one out
  • [experimental] Made many tile entities use the new Forge capabilities. Please report if any of your automation seems to be going weird (hopper/dropper interactions mainly)
  • [experimental] Cleaned up tile entity code to no longer use BlockContainer (legacy vanilla stuff). Please report if any tile entities are horribly broken/don't work

Small build this time

Changes:

    • Some entities blacklisted from gravity rod

    • Botanurgist's Inkwell now shows bar immediately after being infused (howtonotwin)
    • Fix marimorphosis range (PikaDudeNo1)

  • Fix vineball vines being unclimbable on some sides (kevsgrove)
  • Fix some UUID crashes (let me know if they still occur or if other ownership issues arise)
  • Fix life aggregator (spawner mover) being completely broken
  • Update lots of things to use methodhandles instead of reflection. Things should run a bit faster.
  • Slightly tweak corporea cube rendering
  • Minor cleanups

Changes:

  • Relics use UUIDs to identify their owners, and fall back on usernames (Katrix-)
  • Update lexicon entry to reflect new item frame corporea values
  • Partial fix for platforms crashing with chisel blocks
  • Very slightly nerf path block speed boost
  • Fix star particle not rendering (corporea index in range, manastorm charge)
  • A bit of the pump textures
  • Update to official RF API, should work with other mods now (Girafi, KaseiFR)
  • Migrated Corporea Crystal Cube to JSON. Animation doesn't quite line up right now, but it'll be tweaked
  • All apothecaries have their textures back
  • Minor code cleanups
