What Operating System(s) are you running on?Windows, Linux Wayland Which Wayland compositor or X11 Window manager(s) are you using?WezTerm version20250116-151613-6c443bee Ask your question!Hi, I'm trying to find out how I could configure wezterm to use it properly with wsl2. I know that opening wsl directly inside wezterm will fall into the limitations of ConPTY and I can't, for example, view images in the terminal with yazi... The simplest solution to solve this according to what the documentation indicates is to use ssh, however I was trying to configure a unix domain, but I didn't have much success in how to do this in wsl2. The documentation only indicates an example that works in wsl1. How could I proceed? |

After researching a bit more about the problem surrounding openconsole/conpty I found a simpler and more functional solution. In short, the windows terminal preview version can normally display images in the terminal due to having a more recent version of openconsole/conpty, so basically I compiled this version myself and replaced the existing version inside the wezterm installation directory and now everything works as it should.
