For realtime noise suppression it would be useful to mix in some of the dry signal. I am using the ladspa plugin with ALSA, and am unable to mix in some of the dry signal myself because latency differences cannot easily be handled the way they can in a DAW. If a parameter were added that allowed some of the dry signal to be mixed in, in addition to the VAD thresholds that were exposed, it would be useful, and I'm guessing wouldn't be difficult to implement
