Sometimes I don't want to completely denoise a signal, but the plugin does not report latency so the built-in mix knob of DAWS will cause issue. So there should be a mix knob directly in the plugin, even if fixing latency is tricky.

Agree. A Mixing Knob + very important Latency Compensation.
