Not everyone wants the app to launch to the "Starred hosts" screen. This could be made into a user-definable setting.

Rather than add complexity, I'd say just put the map first. That's what I did in #89 (Google maps api v2 upgrade)

As long as no user asks for it, I’d leave it as is.

In accordance with #265 it might be interesting to not show a map first, but other than that I think the map as a starting point is fine.
