When table gets longer may want a region filter for the summary table

Would the region filter be by continent? And what if a country is in two continents (Russia, Turkey)? Which continent is Iceland on? (I think it’s Europe…)

If countries could belong to two regions, that would work for me.
Having a countries list (or select list) seems like it would be too many.

If it's possible to use something like select2 then maybe we can provide a good UX for all countries listings.

What about adding a search field for the countries? We would iterate through the country table and only countries that have a string in them would then be displayed. (“Aus” would find “Austria” and “Australia”)

The field would reset when you change the other filters. (For simplicity reasons.)

I think we could tackle this relatively easy for one of the next versions.

Design discussion needed to address table layout issues and ability to filter content by region.

Ideas include a different landing page for the summary listings as well as using a card-style interface for either countries or policies.
