Example client still working with reference-kbs?

Are there any example clients that works in combination with reference-kbs? Based on a glance at Confidential Container's Trustee, the protocol seems to have changed quite a bit.

While Trustee KBS is probably a better choice in production environments, I find the simplicity of reference-kbs (and not having a requirement for extended attestation as Trustee KBS needs) useful for demos/education.
