Programatically zooming out?

I'm using vega-embed to embed a vega-lite plot in my HTML. I can nicely zoom out with the mouse scroll wheel. Is there a way to do this programatically?

It's a bit tricky but you can set the selection via the signals through the Vega view api. There is an open issue to provide a simpler api.
