how to mark parts of pdf and focuse on them

Hi,
i use pdf-tools to read datasheets. Most of the time info that I need to study is scattered all over the document... Now i just use search to find where the info is and remember the page numbers and then i jump back and forth using page numbers. This works but is a little cumbersome. So I tough a little bit about this workflow and how to improve it. It would be great if I would be able to mark the pages or even better just regions of interest on the pages and then ask pdf-tools to generate a separate buffer/pdf which consist of all this pages/regions. I tried to find if something like this is possible but couldnt find any useful info. Maybe I just lack the right vocabulary :( So I am turning to you folks here, to point me in the right direction. Any advice would be appreciated!
