Placeholder won't update

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Put a placeholder in the scoreboard (any plugin)
2. Edit the island (decrease/increase level)
3. The plugin won't update the placeholder unless /is level is done

I've used the InfiniteScoreboard plugin, but everything else updates except for this plugins' placeholders
