Welcome to Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section

BIT Onboarding

The BIT onboarding process familiarizes new personal with the BIT team, gives an overview of lab/Penn systems, and grants access to our systems.

If you have PennKey access you can follow the instructions for accessing the internal BIT wiki to view the BIT Onboarding process.

If you do not yet have access your supervisor can address the process with you.

To access our internal wiki you will need a GitHub account and active PennKey.

Access to the BIT Wiki

1. If you do not have an existing GitHub account create one:
   • Create a GitHub account
2. If two-factor authentication is not enabled on your account enable it:
   • Configure two-factor authentication for GitHub
   • Additional instructions for configuring with Duo Mobile
3. After logging into your GitHub account visit this link to authenticate with your PennKey and join the upenn GitHub organization:
   • Join the University of Pennsylvania GitHub organization
4. You should then be able to access the internal wiki:
   • https://github.com/upenn/BIT/wiki
