As described in the readme, a configuration file should be config.config. This is nonstandard and ambiguous.

Some sensible candidates are YAML, TOML (with @uiri's well-supported and widely-adopted bindings), and JSON.

I'd prefer JSON. I don't know why this is an issue since there isn't even a configuration to load yet so...

Personally I really like TOML. Language is expressive && the library is just amazing.
