[question] how to suggest new glyphs?

Using the Humanitarian Font on some of our projects at @CartONG-org would really make our life easier.
But we'd need to integrate some of the symbols we are using, and I think it could benefit everyone. Some of them are already visible here : http://cartong-org.github.io/onusida-carto-mada-front/app/

What's the preferred way to suggest new glyphs? Do you have some kind of automated way to add them, or do you add them manually in FontForge? What's the preferred format? SVG?
