registry on ie8

Hey there - FYI the Registry looks kind of wacky on IE8 - I understand if we're not explicitly supporting it, but maybe we should have a message or at least something in the "about" page with recommended browsers?

Could you send a screenshot? I'm looking on an IE8 and it looks OK here.

I tried, but GitHub doesn't support IE8 so I couldn't actually upload it! I'll send via email.

Turns out this is only happening with IE8 when it gets really big on a big monitor. Mark is investigating. Thanks!

Not much I can do here, can't reproduce it with my setup. Can we limit the width of the bootstrap layout rather than just stretch with the window size?

Would it be worth it for me to go into our OAC/Calisphere stats and see how many users are using a combo of large monitor and IE8? might give us a sense of the need for this.
