Currently there's nothing indicating to users what version of the app is running.

Find some way of displaying the version number of whichever release is currently running so it's immediately obvious. Ideally in some way that doesn't require additional manual tweaking of a number anywhere.

…and adjusts webpack instructions to bake the current version number from the package.json file into the static code at build time.
