Prerequisites

  • I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.
  • This is NOT a YouTube, Facebook or Twitch report. These sites MUST be reported by clicking their respective links.
  • I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
  • The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
  • I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

  • uBO is the only extension.
  • using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

  • ublock origin is installed from ms edge store on ms edge canary by enabling developer options
  • ublock logger is not opening when clicking in support tab

Image

  • also when i access extensions (manager) to access ublock dashboard i can only see remove button for ublock origin => same with other extensions

A specific URL where the issue occurs.

extension options

Steps to Reproduce

  1. navigate to ublock origin extension
  2. access support tab
  3. click logger

Expected behavior

Actual behavior

Looks lack of API to open as pop-up/window.

So users must back to workaround with bookmark:

Firefox is the only mobile browser that is officially supported.

If extensions ever make it to stable version AND edge decides to keep MV2 (they are not), maybe then it'll be worth gorhill's time.
