demo.actualbudget.org: breakage

Prerequisites

• This is NOT a YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or a shortener/hosting site report. These sites MUST be reported by clicking their respective links.

Description

When opening any actualbudget instance (not just the demo one) in a new tab that doesn't immediately get focus, it gets stuck on "Initializing the connection to the local database..." and the text at the bottom says "No server configured".

Reproduction:

1. Right click https://demo.actualbudget.org/ and select "Open link in new tab"
2. Wait for ~30 seconds so that the page should have finished loading if everything was working right
3. Change focus to the tab with Actual to see that it's failing to load
4. (Reload the page to see that it now loads correctly)

This still happens after disabling uBlock for the site. Disabling the uBO extension browser-wide stops this behaviour and the page loads correctly immediately.

Test again in a new Firefox profile with only uBO and its default settings.

I wasn't aware of the ability to have separate profiles; that's a great troubleshooting step, thank you. I can still reproduce this in a new profile with only uBO freshly installed. Here's a screen recording:

What happens if you do the same in a new profile but without uBO?

I'm able to reproduce the issue only in firefox.
I have to disable uBO (in add-ons manager page) to have a correct behaviour.

Hmm... I still can't reproduce it so I don't know how to investigate further.

I cannot reproduce 100% the issue. Sometimes - when reproducible - I can see lots of items in cache storage => clearing them the issue is gone.

What happens if you do the same in a new profile but without uBO?

It works just fine. If I then install uBO in that profile it immediately stops working. If you want a screen recording of that let me know.

Also, since I don't see any filters being applied to the page, maybe transfer it to uBlock-issues repo?

I can reproduce with AdGuard, but not with ABP/Adblock.

I used the Don't use a server -> View demo config. Fresh Nightly, uBO stable.
