SWIM does a great job disaggregating FAF data down to alpha zones and the highway network. However, this is only for truck freight. Forecasted freight across all modes is available in the FAF. This issue is to identify or develop a FAF summarizer where a person can easily tabulate information on the following dimensions:
Originating From - 5-6 zones (2 Oregon, and then N, S, E, maybe W of Oregon)
Destin to (same zones above)
Mode
Year
by tons and value
by commodity type
An example would be that a user would be able to quickly determine for 2025 (example) what modes are being used in what percentages to move a certain set of commodities by tons and value.
