The player sprite animates much slower than the speed it moves across the screen. This gives the character sprite a "floating" kind of effect rather than looking like it is actually walking/running around.
I believe increasing the frame rate of the sprite animations would improve the look and feel quite a bit.
I'm submitting as an issue in case 1. anyone disagrees before I do a pull request 2. someone might agree so much that they fix it before I have a chance to.
If I start tweaking the values and experimenting I'll reply again here so efforts aren't duplicated/wasted.
