Summary

Could a standards pattern be added to the API Concepts for sending HL7 2.4 content over http. This is a very common pattern when connecting many existing systems like Laboratory Information Systems to result repository or Cloud based Practice management systems.

I'm suggesting adding a Part E - HL7 over http

The goal would be to encourage utilising secure design when connecting mature systems and enabling deprecation of the connected health network. It would be intended that Part E be for connecting existing systems and new systems should use the FHIR Standards.
