How to use classification?

Currently I'm working on a project where this feature is needed and I'm considering contributing the implementation.

I you have any, would you mind sharing some of your experience or insights regarding this?

Was there a critical reason this was not implemented to begin with, or was it more a matter of time?

The feature was not needed initially thats why it was not implemented.

Hey @srihari-bg.

I was indeed able to implement classification using the original Potree project as a base. This included also changing some data structure for handling individually controlling visibility of different classifications.

I was doing multiple things at the same time and the effort to isolate the different features didn't fit into my time frame unfortunately.
