Context

In our community call, we decided that we need to revisit and improve our release management. A few ideas/topics discussed.

• Proposal to adopt release branches with hotfixes, etc.
• Releases should not be delayed based on documented, non-critical bugs
• SysFlow major release cycle will track the Falco libs major release cycle

Proposal

Let's use this discussion to formalize a proposal for release management and identify any tasks (infra or otherwise) that need to be included in the effort.
