I currently have several notes that are linked to each other. Most of these notes contain flashcards that are specifically tailored to this note. Each note has one or more tags to assign the flashcard to one or more decks. I am constantly creating new links between old and new notes.
Now, when I learn one of the decks, this of course only contains the flashcards of the notes that have the tag of the deck. However, the flashcards in linked notes are often also relevant for the deck for learning, otherwise the notes would not be linked. But it is often the case that this notes do not have the same tag to add them to the same deck. And it would require a lot of time for me to add those tags to all the notes that are linked. In addition I have every 6 months a new set of tags (study lectures) adding to my notes so I have to do this over and over again.
Describe the solution you'd like
Now my Idea is that there is a setting you could adjust the Depth of deck extension by outgoing link from like 0-5. 0: is how it is currently only the flashcards from the notes there are the deck tags are in would be in the deck. 1: would be that all flashcards that are in directly linked notes (outgoing links of the note) are also included in the deck. 2-5: would be the outgoing links of the outgoing links and so on...
This would work quite well for notes where the decks are only specified in the properties. One thing I don't have a solution for yet is how to deal with notes that contain multiple tags somewhere in the body. Do you still add all the flashcards contained in the note or is there a better solution?
Additional context
I'm looking forward to your opinion on this, maybe someone has other thoughts or if you like it, you can give it a 👍🏼 so we can see if others would also like to have this feature.

Hi, I think your proposal is something I've also been thinking about. Would it be something like studying by nodes? Something like the graph that is used to view and navigate through backlink and outgoing notes, but instead of notes in this case, would it only be the cards that are in those notes?
