Support for an optional Tab key

In the keyboard shortcuts, there are several available shortcuts such as "add a word", "edit text", etc.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a shortcut for a TAB key (like the one that usually exist on physical keyboard). My use case is that when I'm writing in a textarea or multiline text field with TT9, I have no easy way to switch to the next field and my only option is to use the touch screen. A tab key would likely solve that in my case.

If a shotcut isn't possible, maybe there's another way? To be honest, just having the ability to tab (regardless of using a shortcut, symbols from 1 or 0, etc.) would be enough for me.
