I'm from the Canary Islands, and since I was little I considered that computing history is as important to humankind as it is the history of the Ancient Egypt, or the Middle Ages.
That passion made me participate in open source emulators, retro communities, and in the end, create the Aaru Data Preservation Suite.
With Aaru my intentions have always been to provide the world, be it collectors, museums, or anyone interested, with the best tool to preserve their computer media, and be able to study it.
I also designed a database to hold all information possible about computing history: Marechai.
For me it is important to get sponsored because I think this kind of software must be free for all to use, open source, and updated constantly, and being sponsored would allow me to work fulltime on it.
