I have created several playlists that I store in various folders with their songs. I then have created desktop links to the playlists. The problem is that the playlists use relative filepaths and so cannot find the file.
Some way to toggle absolute filepaths for playlists would be helpful, to make the playlists portable on a given system.
Brave search's AI said there is such a toggle at Preferences / playlist, but I did not see it.
Or is there a better way to manage playlists?
I'm on 24.5.0 on MX Linux / KDE.
Thanks.

Examining the playlist I'm working with, if I add files to the SMP playlist UI by dragging they are recorded with their filepaths, whereas the original playlist had relative paths. I guess that's the answer.
