If I double click on any file located on a Samba drive mounted on the system SMplayer takes an error: "MPV has failed unexpectedly. Error code: -2 Log:
[file] Cannot open file '/smb/Helios4/Movies/Fishing/Crappie Wisdom.mp4': No such file or directory
Failed to open /smb/Helios4/Movies/Fishing/Crappie Wisdom.mp4.

`
SMPlayer works fine on any local disks, the file does actually exist.
Interestingly, if I just start SMPlayer, then goto Open|File a dialog box opens up. If I double click on the "/" the directories: bin, etc, home, lib, lib32, meta, snap, usr, and var show - no smb where the drive is mounted. Also note that there is no lib32 directory and many other directories under / are missing
Any clue why I can't play any file on a mounted Samba drive?
