Tasker integration

Hi,

First of all thank you for your work, works flawless in my Pixel.

I use Tasker for a number of activities and automation, I wonder if Tasker integration would be something you would ponder.

I was thinking basically something along the lines of a plugin of AOSPMods for Tasker, that allows to change the settings. I'm looking a solution for programmatically change the custom text we can put in the lock screen or in the place of the useless operator name) would that at be something to ponder?

Tasker integration is not required specifically for AOSPmods. You can program it using tasker, automagic and etc.

But probably depends on the intervals you want to get the update. If you want it every second/every minute and etc, it will drain your battery. And also, some updates require UI refresh, so they might update after UI reboot.

That would be up to the user, i would update the text every time the battery percent drops, however there are a lot of scenarios that it can be useful, for example a (Tasker) Task get a daily quote at 9AM and put it in the lock screen... That would not impact battery I'm sure.

That could be a problem yes, but again it would be up to the user. Most of the settings don't require a UI reboot anyway

It is up to user. I dont think you will have any trouble with getting a daily quote at 9AM with Tasker. But as I said there is no need for an extra Tasker integrity app to use Tasker with AOSPMods. And introduction of separate Tasker integrity is up to dev. Which is answered above.

Maybe I did not explain well, I just need a way to write to the "text" options (Lock screen, clock, etc) areas of AOSP Mods programmatically (via Tasker, settings file, etc) and apply it without manually having to go to the AOSPMods interface. I use Tasker for a variety of tasks, notably displaying battery stats in a custom notification.
