Connect uses r-install to provision vagrant boxes and we are seeing a lot of:

   centos6-plain: cat: /etc/os-release: No such file or directory
    centos6-plain: cat: /etc/os-release: No such file or directory

    centos6-plain: cat: /etc/os-release: No such file or directory
