I do not have access to a Mac, nor can I set up a Hackintosh, due to my current hardware. I'm limited to the tools in Windows only, which seem to be FontLab and FontForge. Neither of these programs support the .glyphspackage format, so I'm unable to edit the source files, and I'd rather not have to convert to designspace/UFO every time I want to make changes to the font. Using https://github.com/florianpircher/glyphspack, may help, but I don't know how to go about integrating this into the Inter toolchain. Perhaps this could be done using Git Hooks, but I don't know of a way to run a program/script when a file is changed locally at all (without committing or pushing). |

You can use fontmake https://github.com/googlefonts/fontmake to generate UFO file trees which can be imported into most font editors. |

Wrangling the Inter Toolchain on Windows and even WSL seems to be more work than is worth it. The Makefile seems to be missing many targets, and seemingly random errors pop up like whack-a-mole everytime I run the same command. I'm at a dead end on what to do. |
