I am from the same server as @ANDAANCO . First of all, we apologize for opening the issue in the wrong repo. This issue is regarding the 1.20.1 version of Scorched Guns 2.

Regarding the actual issue, it have been identified that this is due to a mod interaction issue. The specific other party in question is: Majrusz's Progressive Difficulty. The aforementioned mod make explosions start fire in the surrounding area, if the player difficulty is high enough. Such an explosion does not need to be caused by a player. This means when a sulfur vent block explode, it create more fire in its immediate surrounding, therefore ending up in an explosive loop, putting a strain on the server's computation power.

It would be very kind if some measure can be implemented to mitigate this issue, such as scheduling another task to extinguish nearby fire a few ticks after the explosion. However, as this is a mod compatibility issue, we understand that it may not be supported ultimately, and it is acceptable if this issue is to be closed as not planned.
