Description

After downloading and installing the patched SnapChat app, it closes immediately after trying to open.

It closes and shows a popup saying "This app has a bug" and "Clear cache for SnapChat". I try clearing the cache and data but it still won't work.

Also, no logs are showing in SnapEnhance. I've had this issue before and I factory formatted My phone which after, it started working again. I really don't want to have to do that again.

I'm on a non rooted device (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G), running Android 14 / OneUI 6.1. I've never had an issue with Shizuku or LS-Patch, just opening SnapChat after patching.

The stock SnapChat app works fine and so does FMSC, any help is much appreciated!

Reproduction steps

  1. Download all required files and install (except SnapEnhance)
  2. Enable "Wireless debugging" in Dev options
  3. Enable Shizuku
  4. Link Shizuku to LS-Patch
  5. Patch SnapChat APK with SE
  6. Install patched file
  7. Install SnapEnhance and open, then setup
  8. Open SnapChat

Now the patched SnapChat app opens but keeps saying "Failed to initialize bridge".

I'm using the debug build of LS-Patch as mentioned in that discussion.
