I'm installing notion on a new machine, and so I'm trying to clean up my config. I used to use mod_statusbar with stalonetray, but I figured I'd give mod_dock a go. But I've been running into weird spacing problems with everything I've tried except gnome-panel.
Here is stalonetray in mod_dock:
xfce4-panel:
polybar:
Note the icons in the top right.
Any ideas what is going on? I can go back to mod_statusbar for now...

IIRC mod_dock (which bears some age-old relationship to WindowMaker style DockApps) has some minimum width/height setting. These DockApps used to have some tile size of 64x64 or something like that. It's been ages since I've touched any of this so my memory is fuzzy.
I've played with polybar before and it doesn't seem to be well suited for use with notion.
I think I have used polybar successfully in the past, but had to configure it so that it'd only use the 'bottom bar' and not the 'top bar' (or vice-versa)
