Please can you clarify the licensing of this software by adding a LICENSE file? Based on the text it seems to be implicitly free-use but without a LICENSE we cannot be certain.

I see it does exist in ramsurf.c. This is not the standard location. Does this license apply to ramsurf.c only, or all source code? For the avoidance of doubt, a separate LICENSE file is recommended.

Hello, the project is licensed under the 3-clause BSD license. I've just pushed the changes to provide a LICENSE file for the repo.
